AROWOLO OF AFRICA
AROWOLO OF AFRICACore Commodities

Core Commodities

AOA's core agricultural programme focuses on five strategically selected commodities that represent the highest demand segments in West African agricultural exports. Each commodity is procured through established sourcing networks, subjected to quality inspection, and delivered to processors or export buyers according to contracted specifications. A separate trading desk handles petroleum procurement and metals sales for qualified counterparties.

Agricultural Origin

01 · Feb – May

Raw Cashew Nuts

Benin · Côte d’Ivoire

West Africa accounts for over 45% of global raw cashew nut production, with Benin and Côte d’Ivoire as leading origins. AOA sources RCN during the primary February-to-May campaign directly from farmer cooperatives and licensed collectors. Product is graded by outturn ratio and moisture content prior to bagging and export.

02 · Oct – Mar

Cacao Beans

Togo · Nigeria

AOA sources cocoa beans from the Togo-Nigeria corridor, engaging licensed buying agents and registered fermentation centers. Beans are classified to Grade 1 and Grade 2 standards with fermentation rates verified at dispatch. AOA’s cacao supply services ETG’s Togo operations as of the 2024 season.

03 · Oct – Jan

Soya Beans

Benin · Burkina

Benin and Burkina Faso are important soya origins for the regional crushing industry. AOA aggregates soya beans for direct delivery to processors including the GDIZ industrial platform. Product is cleaned, dried to standard moisture, and bagged per buyer specification.

04 · May – Aug

Shea Nuts

Burkina · Mali

AOA sources shea nuts from traditional harvesting communities in Burkina Faso and northern Benin. Shea is hand-sorted and sun-dried post-collection. The commodity targets global cosmetics and confectionery processors seeking traceable West African origin material.
